Description
WLE600VX-I is a Dual-Band Selectable (2.4GHz or 5GHz) WiFi 5 (802.11ac) module. It is based on Qualcomm’s QCA9892 ‘Peregrine’ series radio solution. This is a 2T2R (2×2) MIMO 2.4GHz or 5GHz solution and is capable of supporting 4.9GHz public safety band (optional). In addition, WLE600VX-I features a standard 30 x 51 mm dimension, making the hardware integration as seamless as possible. With 2 spatial streams, WLE600VX-I is capable of achieving up to 867Mbps with the availability of 80MHz bandwidth.
WLE600VX-I can deliver up to 21dBm per chain for 5GHz and 20dBm per chain for 2.4GHz, and this is a perfect solution for customers who need to change frequency bands depending on their field applications. WLE600VX-I is capable of doing both AP and STA mode, in this case, doing backhaul and providing connectivity for clients at the same time. Based on a 3.3V design, WLE600VX-I ensures that the signal coverage is as wide as possible, and consumes less power when compared to Qualcomm’s reference design. WLE600VX-I is suitable for customers who are conscious of the power consumption of their products. With its ability to survive extreme temperatures (-40°C ~ 85°C), WLE900VX-I is suitable for applications in extreme environments.
Supporting up to 256 QAMs, WLE600VX-I with its MIMO capability, is a perfect solution for Enterprise, Industrial, Cybersecurity, Transportation, and SMB applications or appliances. With Compex acting as a value-added manufacturer, and with Compex’s extensive experience with ath10k open source drive and Qualcomm proprietary closed source driver QSDK, WLE600VX-I is not restricted to working just on Qualcomm’s ecosystem, but also on 3rd party platforms such as Intel x86 and other ARM processors such as NXP and Marvell.
