Description
WLT206H is a tri-band dual-concurrent WiFi 6 (802.11ax) + BLE5.1 module. It is based on Qualcomm’s QCA2062 ‘Verona’ series STA mode radio solution. This is the first 2T2R (2×2) MU-MIMO dual concurrent solution. With 2 spatial streams, WLT206H is capable of achieving up to 1.2Gbps. With QCA2066, the module further expanded towards supporting WiFi 6E (6GHz) and is capable of achieving up to 2.4Gbps of throughput.
WLT206H can deliver up to 16dBm per chain 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz, and this is a perfect solution for client-based applications such as IoT and Smart Home devices. WLT206H is capable of doing softAP mode, in this case, acting as the host for internet access instead of working as the receiving end only. The presence of dual-band dual-concurrent allows the devices that make use of it to have access to either band, thus increasing the available networks the device can connect to. Most importantly, with internal FEMs, WLT206H is very power efficient, which is what’s needed the most for IoT and Smart Home appliances. Bluetooth is available on this module, often used as a smart home/IoT product set up during the initial startup.
Supporting up to 1024 QAMs, WLT206H with its OFDMA feature is a perfect solution for Industrial, Cybersecurity, Transportation, Smart Home, IoT, and SMB applications or appliances. With Compex acting as a value-added manufacturer, WLT206H is not restricted to working just on Qualcomm’s ecosystem, but also on 3rd party platforms such as the Intel x86 platform.
